Meal Deliveries at Stanley Isaac's Senior Center

*Note: This is an alternate location from our usual volunteer event. We have two events running simultaneously on the same weekend. If you wish to volunteer at the Encore Senior Center location on 49th street, please sign up for that event by searching for "Deliver Meals to Home bound Seniors" * Volunteers hand-deliver hot & cold meals to home-bound seniors, who look forward to these much-needed personal visits. Paired in twos, we deliver meals on foot from Stanley Isaac's Neighborhood Center. The routes are short, usually no more than 10 to 12 stops. Please wear comfortable shoes & weather-appropriate clothing. Upon arrival, volunteers who have signed up through Street Project will meet and will be given a brief orientation before going on deliveries.

9:45 AM sharp

Stanley Isaac's Senior Center 415 East 93rd Street, 10128 (building offset from the street, entrance through glass sliding doors.) Upon entering the Senior Center let the front desk know that you are there to volunteer. They will point you in the direction of our group, which will be gathered in the back right.

Street Project supplies various City Meals Center locations with a set number of volunteers each month. If you signed up to help Citymeals through this website, please make sure you ask for Street Project at the front desk when you arrive! If you can't make it to the project, we request you to let us know at the EARLIEST to open the spot for another volunteer and to ensure that elderly and home-bound residents receive their meals in a timely fashion. If you have any questions, please use the comments when you sign up.
