Preparing meals on Christmas Eve morning

Volunteers at the University Soup Kitchen, Street Project's longest running activity, serve meals to men and women of all ages in a respectful "restaurant-style" environment. Soup Kitchen is a great, fun way for busy people to lend a hand to the community while meeting other young professionals in the city. Saturday from 8:45am to noon.

Volunteers are needed at the Soup Kitchen for several upcoming Saturdays. Space can be limited (~6-8 people per session), so please sign up online if you're able to volunteer. Please arrive at 8:45 a.m. for a quick orientation / job assignment, clean-up should be complete around noon. You must be 18 to volunteer. And please let us know as SOON as you know you can't make a day you've committed for. Where: Church of the Nativity 44 2nd Ave. b/t 2nd and 3rd Streets
