Connecting busy New Yorkers to volunteer opportunities - and each other

University Soup Kitchen

Volunteers at the University Soup Kitchen, Street Project's longest running activity, serve meals to men and women of all ages in a respectful "restaurant-style" environment. Soup Kitchen is a great, fun way for busy people to lend a hand to the community while meeting other young professionals in the city. Saturdays from 11:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Signup! University Community Social Services Soup Kitchen - Sat, 9/18/10

We serve a wholesome, freshly made meal each Saturday – one that we are happy to eat ourselves – in a respectful atmosphere to anyone who comes through our doors, no questions asked. We provide a welcoming place of respite for our guests and offer vital social services to those in need. We do this with an all-volunteer staff, without a single employee.
