Connecting busy New Yorkers to volunteer opportunities - and each other

Urban Adventures

Urban Adventures works with students, mostly middle-school aged, to provide an educational and recreational outlet and to introduce them to new experiences in NYC. We currently have two Urban Adventures projects, one with Manhattan Middle School and one with Mott Hall School. As many as 20-35 students can participate, and they look to the program as an opportunity to explore the city. The group meets one Saturday per month for four to six hours to explore museums, parks, exhibits, zoos, etc. We encourage consistent involvement from volunteers but welcome any and all interest in the program. Please note that while we always cover costs for the students, volunteers are required to pay their own admission into each event.
