Bowling Fun at Harlem Lanes !!!

Please join us for a fun bowling event with the PAL kids!!! The group consists of children ranging from 9-13 years.
We will have 2 hours of some ‘healthy competition’ and then grab a burger/pizza afterwards. It’s set to be a fun day for all !!

For volunteers who wish to participate in bowling the cost is $10.

PAL Harlem Center, 441 Manhattan Avenue, New York, NY 10026

Directions: The Center is situated at the corner of 119th Street. The quickest way to reach the center is the D express train to 125th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue. Walk south to 119th Street and Manhattan Ave. Other options are B or C train to 116th and 8th Avenue. Walk west to Manhattan Avenue and North to 119th Street.

University Soup Kitchen

University Soup Kitchen is Street Project's longest running volunteer opportunity. Volunteers serve a wholesome, freshly made meal each Saturday in a respectful atmosphere. The kitchen provides a welcoming place of respite for guests and offers vital social services to those in need.

Citymeals-on-Wheels provides contact, connection and nourishment to homebound elderly New Yorkers. Volunteers deliver hot, nutritious meals to homebound and often isolated seniors in this program.

Parks Revitalization

Help beautify and maintain parks, agencies, and nonprofit organizations all over New York City. We currently support projects in Ft Tryon Park in upper Manhattan through partnership with the Friends of Ft Tryon Park organization.

Bingo with Seniors

Cobble Hill Health Center is a long- and short-term care facility providing services to the disabled and elderly. Volunteers provide their elderly residents with much-needed social interaction. Volunteers lead a game of bingo (complete with prizes!) to boost spirits.

Kids & Teens

Helping Hands

Helping Hands provides two opportunities: 1) With Publicolor, volunteers are paired with middle and high school students to repaint and revitalize public school buildings. Or 2) volunteers can support Change for Kids’ mission to invest in NYC public elementary schools in underserved communities.

Urban Adventures works with middle school students to provide an educational and recreational outlet and to introduce them to new experiences in NYC. We currently work with Mott Hall School and Manhattan Middle School.
