Bowling with both 125th and 175th centers
November 17, 2007Free
Join us in taking the kids from Harlem Dowling centers at both 125th and 175th (Washington Heights) to go bowling! We’ll split volunteers to pick up at both centers at 11:30 and leave by 12 to head up to Yankee stadium for bowling at Ballpark lanes. After playing 2 games, we’ll drop off the kids between 4 and 4:30.
Bowling is always a popular event with the kids so we needs lots of help!
Volunteers are welcome to bowl as well though are not required to. The cost is $10 for each volunteer (shoes included).
Hope you can come!

University Soup Kitchen
University Soup Kitchen is Street Project's longest running volunteer opportunity. Volunteers serve a wholesome, freshly made meal each Saturday in a respectful atmosphere. The kitchen provides a welcoming place of respite for guests and offers vital social services to those in need.
Kids & Teens
Helping Hands provides two opportunities: 1) With Publicolor, volunteers are paired with middle and high school students to repaint and revitalize public school buildings. Or 2) volunteers can support Change for Kids’ mission to invest in NYC public elementary schools in underserved communities.
