Central Park Zoo with PAL!
September 22, 2012Free
Please join us and the kids from PAL for day at the Central Park Zoo at 64th St and 5th Avenue for a day of touring the zoo and watching one of the zoo’s 4-D movies.
This is a great opportunity to be role model to a kid in NY while at the same time having fun and enjoying the city!
We will provide lunch at the start of the event. However, each volunteer is responsible for their own admission for the zoo and 4-D movie, which is $18. Please wear comfortable shoes since we’ll be walking around outside some to get to the zoo and tour around to see the animals.
We will pick the kids up at the PAL location at 11 am and bring them back at approximately 3 pm. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com with any questions. See you there!

University Soup Kitchen
University Soup Kitchen is Street Project's longest running volunteer opportunity. Volunteers serve a wholesome, freshly made meal each Saturday in a respectful atmosphere. The kitchen provides a welcoming place of respite for guests and offers vital social services to those in need.
Kids & Teens
Helping Hands provides two opportunities: 1) With Publicolor, volunteers are paired with middle and high school students to repaint and revitalize public school buildings. Or 2) volunteers can support Change for Kids’ mission to invest in NYC public elementary schools in underserved communities.
