Harlem Dowling 125th street Halloween Party

Please join us as we bring the kids from Harlem Dowling 125th street to a Halloween party at the World Financial Center. There will be trick or treating, jack o lantern carving and a chance for photo ops with a giant squash.
We will meet at the center at noon for a pizza party and then head downtown. We will drop the kids off between 4 and 4:30

Hunger Relief

University Soup Kitchen

University Soup Kitchen is Street Project's longest running volunteer opportunity. Volunteers serve a wholesome, freshly made meal each Saturday in a respectful atmosphere. The kitchen provides a welcoming place of respite for guests and offers vital social services to those in need.

Citymeals-on-Wheels

Citymeals-on-Wheels provides contact, connection and nourishment to homebound elderly New Yorkers. Volunteers deliver hot, nutritious meals to homebound and often isolated seniors in this program.

Community Support

Parks Revitalization

Help beautify and maintain parks, agencies, and nonprofit organizations all over New York City. We currently support projects in Ft Tryon Park in upper Manhattan through partnership with the Friends of Ft Tryon Park organization.

Bingo with Seniors

Cobble Hill Health Center is a long- and short-term care facility providing services to the disabled and elderly. Volunteers provide their elderly residents with much-needed social interaction. Volunteers lead a game of bingo (complete with prizes!) to boost spirits.

Kids & Teens

Helping Hands

Helping Hands provides two opportunities: 1) With Publicolor, volunteers are paired with middle and high school students to repaint and revitalize public school buildings. Or 2) volunteers can support Change for Kids’ mission to invest in NYC public elementary schools in underserved communities.

Urban Adventures

Urban Adventures works with middle school students to provide an educational and recreational outlet and to introduce them to new experiences in NYC. We currently work with Mott Hall School and Manhattan Middle School.
