Please join us for a fun day of laser tag! We will meet the students outside Manhattan Middle School 328 (164th with entrance on Edgecombe Avenue) at 10:30 aM (please be 15 minutes early) and travel by subway down to Long Island City. We plan on returning to the school at 3:30 PM to drop the kids off.
The nitty gritty:
Food options are limited at Laser Tag so please bring a bagged lunch if you don’t want to eat pizza.
AND IMPORTANT: Our reservation is for 30 players max, and out of that I’m reserving 5 spots for the first volunteers that sign up and allowing the school to send up to 25 kids. There is a chance more spots for volunteers to play will open up if less kids sign up. To play, its $30 a person- we ask volunteers to pay their own way, but let me know if that’s a problem. If you would like to come and just hang out and watch, that’s fine too!
10:30, please be 15 minutes early!

Choose your event by cause:
University Soup Kitchen
University Soup Kitchen is Street Project's longest running volunteer opportunity. Volunteers serve a wholesome, freshly made meal each Saturday in a respectful atmosphere. The kitchen provides a welcoming place of respite for guests and offers vital social services to those in need.
Kids & Teens
Helping Hands provides two opportunities: 1) With Publicolor, volunteers are paired with middle and high school students to repaint and revitalize public school buildings. Or 2) volunteers can support Change for Kids’ mission to invest in NYC public elementary schools in underserved communities.
