Laser Tag with Harlem Dowling 175th Street

The kids and the Street Project volunteers will be enjoying a day of laser tag at the NYC Paintball and Laser Tag center over in Long Island City, Queens. The group will meet at Harlem Dowling around 12 noon and then head over together to the Laser Tag Park. Our appointment time is for 1:30p and we are expected to play 3 rounds of laser tag for 1 ½ hours.We expect to drop the kids back at the center around 4p.

We ask for volunteers to pay for their admission to the Laser Tag park as we will directly pay for the children’s tickets. Admission is for $17 per player.

University Soup Kitchen
University Soup Kitchen is Street Project's longest running volunteer opportunity. Volunteers serve a wholesome, freshly made meal each Saturday in a respectful atmosphere. The kitchen provides a welcoming place of respite for guests and offers vital social services to those in need.
Kids & Teens
Helping Hands provides two opportunities: 1) With Publicolor, volunteers are paired with middle and high school students to repaint and revitalize public school buildings. Or 2) volunteers can support Change for Kids’ mission to invest in NYC public elementary schools in underserved communities.
