Museum of Natural History Scavenger Hunt
January 11, 2014Free
We are very excited to have our first trip with a new school, Manhattan Middle School on January 11!! Please join us for a trip to the Museum of Natural History to help us celebrate. In groups, we will be competing for intellectual clout searching for information around the museum.
We will meet the students outside Manhattan Middle School 328 (164th with entrance on Edgecombe Avenue) at 11:00 AM (please be 15 minutes early) and travel by subway down to the museum. We plan on returning to the school at 4:00 PM to drop the kids off.
We ask the volunteers to pay your own admission to the event (details closer to the event) and to bring your own lunch or money to buy.

University Soup Kitchen
University Soup Kitchen is Street Project's longest running volunteer opportunity. Volunteers serve a wholesome, freshly made meal each Saturday in a respectful atmosphere. The kitchen provides a welcoming place of respite for guests and offers vital social services to those in need.
Kids & Teens
Helping Hands provides two opportunities: 1) With Publicolor, volunteers are paired with middle and high school students to repaint and revitalize public school buildings. Or 2) volunteers can support Change for Kids’ mission to invest in NYC public elementary schools in underserved communities.
