Natural History Museum with PAL!
March 24, 2007Free
Due to a technical glitch, this event appeared closed to volunteer sign-up — this was a mistake — there are still several spots open for interested people to join!
Please join the PAL group for an afternoon at the National History Museum. We will meet at 1pm in the lobby of the museum (location at 79th Street & CPW). We’ll spend around 3 hours visiting the underwater exhibit, dinosaur fossils & hit the cafeteria for an afternoon snack. The event should conclude around 4:30pm.

University Soup Kitchen
University Soup Kitchen is Street Project's longest running volunteer opportunity. Volunteers serve a wholesome, freshly made meal each Saturday in a respectful atmosphere. The kitchen provides a welcoming place of respite for guests and offers vital social services to those in need.
Kids & Teens
Helping Hands provides two opportunities: 1) With Publicolor, volunteers are paired with middle and high school students to repaint and revitalize public school buildings. Or 2) volunteers can support Change for Kids’ mission to invest in NYC public elementary schools in underserved communities.
