Picnic and Rollerskating with Harlem Dowling

Come join us for a fun filled day as we take the youths from the 125th Harlem Dowling center to Riverbank State Park for a picnic and rollerskating. We will play whiffle ball, relay games, and soccer and enjoy a delicious picnic. The event will be free for the kids but we will ask the adults to pay. The cost will be $5.00 for rollerskating and $5.00 – $7.00 for the picnic. Don’t forget to bring a pair of socks.

University Soup Kitchen is Street Project's longest running volunteer opportunity. Volunteers serve a wholesome, freshly made meal each Saturday in a respectful atmosphere. The kitchen provides a welcoming place of respite for guests and offers vital social services to those in need.
Kids & Teens
Helping Hands provides two opportunities: 1) With Publicolor, volunteers are paired with middle and high school students to repaint and revitalize public school buildings. Or 2) volunteers can support Change for Kids’ mission to invest in NYC public elementary schools in underserved communities.
