Play Day in Central Park
June 11, 2005Free
Please join us for our final PAL activity for this school year — a fun afternoon of games in Central Park! We plan to have the kids bring their lunches, so if you can, please bring treats to share (chips, cookies, etc.)72nd & Central Park West (southeast corner)
Call my cell if you need help finding us (646/489-6378).
In case of rain, we will go to the Museum of Natural History, but will still meet at 72nd and Central Park West to avoid confusion.
Please include your cell phone on your response so that I can contact you if there is a change in plans.
Choose your event by cause:
University Soup Kitchen
University Soup Kitchen is Street Project's longest running volunteer opportunity. Volunteers serve a wholesome, freshly made meal each Saturday in a respectful atmosphere. The kitchen provides a welcoming place of respite for guests and offers vital social services to those in need.
Kids & Teens
Helping Hands provides two opportunities: 1) With Publicolor, volunteers are paired with middle and high school students to repaint and revitalize public school buildings. Or 2) volunteers can support Change for Kids’ mission to invest in NYC public elementary schools in underserved communities.
