Scavenger Hunt at the Museum of Natural History
November 22, 2008Free
Please join the students of Mott Hall Elementary as they compete for intellectual clout during our second annual Scavenger Hunt at the Museum of Natural History. We will meet the students outside Mott Hall Elementary (131st St and Convent Ave) at 10:45 AM and travel by subway down to the museum. We plan on returning to the school at 3:30 to release the kids. Choose your event by cause:
University Soup Kitchen
University Soup Kitchen is Street Project's longest running volunteer opportunity. Volunteers serve a wholesome, freshly made meal each Saturday in a respectful atmosphere. The kitchen provides a welcoming place of respite for guests and offers vital social services to those in need.
Kids & Teens
Helping Hands provides two opportunities: 1) With Publicolor, volunteers are paired with middle and high school students to repaint and revitalize public school buildings. Or 2) volunteers can support Change for Kids’ mission to invest in NYC public elementary schools in underserved communities.
