Sony Wonder Technology Lab with Washington Heights center
January 20, 2007Free
Join us in taking the kids from the Harlem Dowling Washington Heights to the Sony Wonder Technology lab! Other Street Project groups have visited this new interactive center and have really enjoyed all the fun exhibits. We’ll meet at the center at 1 PM and have pizza before heading down to midtown. We’ll plan on getting the kids back to the center by 4:30/5.
Hope you can come!

University Soup Kitchen
University Soup Kitchen is Street Project's longest running volunteer opportunity. Volunteers serve a wholesome, freshly made meal each Saturday in a respectful atmosphere. The kitchen provides a welcoming place of respite for guests and offers vital social services to those in need.
Kids & Teens
Helping Hands provides two opportunities: 1) With Publicolor, volunteers are paired with middle and high school students to repaint and revitalize public school buildings. Or 2) volunteers can support Change for Kids’ mission to invest in NYC public elementary schools in underserved communities.
