Trip to ‘Little Shop of Crafts’

Please join us at the “Little Shop of Crafts’ on the Upper West Side for a fun day of painting.
The kids will have the opportunity to exhibit their artistic ability on a clay object of their choice which they can bring home the same day!
Volunteers are free to join in and the fees are very reasonable ($11 and up).

PAL Harlem Center, 441 Manhattan Avenue, New York, NY 10026
Directions: The PAL Harlem Center is situated at the corner of 119th Street. The quickest way to reach the center is the D express train to 125th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue. Walk south to 119th Street and Manhattan Ave. Other options are B or C train to 116th and 8th Avenue. Walk west to Manhattan Avenue and North to 119th Street. University Soup Kitchen
University Soup Kitchen is Street Project's longest running volunteer opportunity. Volunteers serve a wholesome, freshly made meal each Saturday in a respectful atmosphere. The kitchen provides a welcoming place of respite for guests and offers vital social services to those in need.
Kids & Teens
Helping Hands provides two opportunities: 1) With Publicolor, volunteers are paired with middle and high school students to repaint and revitalize public school buildings. Or 2) volunteers can support Change for Kids’ mission to invest in NYC public elementary schools in underserved communities.
