Trip to the Natural History Museum with PAL!
March 3, 2012Free
Please join us and the kids from PAL to go to the Natural History Museum at 81st Street and Central Park West. This is a great opportunity to be role model to a kid in NY while at the same time sharing the lasting experience of the exhibits at the Natural History Museum, a NYC landmark.
We will provide admission for the children to the museum – however, each volunteer is responsible for their own admission. The museum provides a recommended rate but we will likely offer the museum a lower amount of $10 per adult based on our group so please bring $10.
We will pick the kids up at the PAL location at 11 am to go right out to the museum and bring them back at approximately 3 pm. We will also provide lunch later in the trip with the kids at or around the museum. Please contact email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. See you there!

University Soup Kitchen
University Soup Kitchen is Street Project's longest running volunteer opportunity. Volunteers serve a wholesome, freshly made meal each Saturday in a respectful atmosphere. The kitchen provides a welcoming place of respite for guests and offers vital social services to those in need.
Kids & Teens
Helping Hands provides two opportunities: 1) With Publicolor, volunteers are paired with middle and high school students to repaint and revitalize public school buildings. Or 2) volunteers can support Change for Kids’ mission to invest in NYC public elementary schools in underserved communities.
