UPDATED TIME – Lunch & A Movie w/ the 125th Street Center!
April 2, 2005Free
Update — Meeting time is now 1:15pm!
Please join us on Saturday, April 2nd for lunch and a movie with the wonderful kids from the 125th St Harlem Dowling center!
We are planning to meet at the Center at 1:15pm and then first eating lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we’ll be heading to a 2:45 showing of The Pacifier at the Magic Johnson Theatres in Harlem. Since the movie is only a block away from the Center, we will return to the center for a 4:30pm for pick-up.
Also, just a reminder that we do ask that volunteers pay for themselves (Street Project will cover the cost of the children). I’d estimate the cost of the event to be around $15 (matinee is $6.75/adult and lunch will be pizza or McDonalds).
I hope that you are able to join us! As always, please let me know if you have any questions!

Choose your event by cause:
University Soup Kitchen
University Soup Kitchen is Street Project's longest running volunteer opportunity. Volunteers serve a wholesome, freshly made meal each Saturday in a respectful atmosphere. The kitchen provides a welcoming place of respite for guests and offers vital social services to those in need.
Kids & Teens
Helping Hands provides two opportunities: 1) With Publicolor, volunteers are paired with middle and high school students to repaint and revitalize public school buildings. Or 2) volunteers can support Change for Kids’ mission to invest in NYC public elementary schools in underserved communities.
