Valentines with the Residents of Carnegie East House!
January 28, 2007Free
Come spread the love with the residents of Carnegie East House Sunday, January 28th at 2:15pm when we help them send Valentines to their loved ones! We will be meeting at Carnegie East House (1844 Second Avenue between 95th and 96th Streets) and will spend approximately an hour and a half with the residents making Valentines for them to send to their loved ones. As this is an in-house event, the turn out is larger than normal and a larger volunteer base is requested. This is a great way to spread Valentine’s Day love and help brighten someone’s day!

University Soup Kitchen
University Soup Kitchen is Street Project's longest running volunteer opportunity. Volunteers serve a wholesome, freshly made meal each Saturday in a respectful atmosphere. The kitchen provides a welcoming place of respite for guests and offers vital social services to those in need.
Kids & Teens
Helping Hands provides two opportunities: 1) With Publicolor, volunteers are paired with middle and high school students to repaint and revitalize public school buildings. Or 2) volunteers can support Change for Kids’ mission to invest in NYC public elementary schools in underserved communities.
