Hunger Relief

University Soup Kitchen

University Soup Kitchen (AKA University Community Social Services or “NYC Meatloaf Kitchen”), Street Project's longest running volunteer opportunity, serves a wholesome, freshly made meal each Saturday in a respectful atmosphere.

The kitchen provides a welcoming place of respite for guests and offers vital social services to those in need.

About the Activity:

Volunteers serve meals to men and women of all ages in a respectful, restaurant-style environment.

Volunteering at the soup kitchen is a great way for busy people to lend a hand in the community while meeting other young professionals.

When:

This volunteer event is offered on a twice monthly basis.

What to wear:

Comfortable casual attire and closed toe shoes
