Urban Adventures works with middle school students to provide an educational and recreational outlet and to introduce them to new experiences in NYC.
About the Activity:
We currently have two Urban Adventures projects:
• Mott Hall School
• Manhattan Middle School (Middle School 326 Writers Today Leaders Tomorrow)
Street Project volunteers meet a group of 15 to 25 students one Saturday per month and chaperone them on a trip to a local attraction. Volunteers exploring museums, parks, exhibits, zoos and other city landmarks with the students.
We encourage consistent involvement from volunteers, as this is a great way to bond with the students, but welcome any and all interested in the program.
*Please note that while we cover all costs for the students, volunteers are required to pay their own admission fees.
